This 7 Days Safari Serengeti begins from and Ends in Arusha. It will take you to some of Tanzania’s best National Parks where you will enjoy viewing abundant game. It will involve 3 days in Serengeti, and a night in Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara respectively.

Pick up from Arusha at around 0730hours by your driver guide, he will brief you about your 7 days safari after start off with the 2hours and a half journey to Lake Manyara. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge of your choice and have lunch. In the afternoon head out for a game drive, where you will enjoy game viewing in this dramatically situated park; you will have great sights of acacia woodland, baobabs, water forests, and large numbers of elephants, tree climbing lions, flamingos which are found along the lake. In the evening after the drive as you drive back to the lodge you will have nice views of the sunsets.

Have dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Leave Lake Manyara for Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast start off the journey to Serengeti which is a distance of 205km approximately a 6hours drive, you will go through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area(NCA) and the farmland in Karatu. Upon arrival to this park with endless plains drive to Seronera area where most of the park’s wildlife lives, there is also a river called Seronera where almost all animals come to get water to quench their thirst.

You will have lunch and set out for an afternoon game drive. In the evening have dinner at the lodge of your choice.

Day 3: Enjoy a full day Game viewing in Serengeti Plains

On this day you will have an amazing day inside the park where by after breakfast you will set out on a game drive for game viewing the near the Sogore River Circuit where you will be in line to see topis, lions, cheetahs, ostriches, gazelles among other animals. After the drive have a relaxed lunch picnic under the shade of acacia trees, you will also have cold drinks which you can buy at the shop nearby.

After lunch proceed with game viewing, take the Kopjes Circuit where you will see large cobras and lions, during the dry season these Kopjes are really a great place for game viewing. Head back to the lodge, relax and overnight.

Day 4: Another Full day exploring the Serengeti Plains

You can never get enough of Serengeti; every time you explore you get something new to see, so today you will have a morning and afternoon game drives where you will enjoy game viewing and looking for wildlife species you missed out on the previous day. Have breakfast by 0700hours and set out, you will see various animals like hippos, antelopes, lions, hyenas, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes among others. You will also have a chance of viewing the Great wildebeest migration. In the evening unwind at the lodge.

Day 5: Depart from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Have an early game drive at around 0630hours where you will be in line to see the early morning kills plus the Big Five; an unforgettable experience. At around 0930hours return to the lodge, have breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro with a stopover at the Olduvai Gorge where the oldest human skulls where discovered. Transfer to the lodge of your choice in Ngorongoro, check in have dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Explore Ngorongoro and transfer to Tarangire National Park

Have a hefty breakfast drive as you descend over 600m to the bottom of the crater; this area is among the famous areas that have the highest concentration of wildlife which include; zebras, warthogs, elands, elephants, gazelles, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeests as well as birds. It also has a high population of predators such as jackals, hyenas, lions, leopards and cheetahs. Within the crater, you will also visit an alkaline Lake Magadi which is home to a number of hippos and flamingos.

Have lunch and have another game drive for at least 1½hours whereby by 1530hours depart from Ngorongoro to Tarangire which is a 3½hours drive. Arrive in Tarangire and have dinner at the lodge of your choice.

Day 7: From Tarangire back to Arusha

After breakfast have a game drive with in Tarangire where you will have great sights of the park’s natural vegetation which comprises mainly of Baobab trees, Acacia woodlands and huge swampy areas; also enjoy game viewing since the park harbors around 3000 elephants, 30,000 zebras and over 25,000 wildebeest and other animals like the Ashy Starlings, greater kudus among others.

Have lunch and embark on a 2hours journey back to Arusha. Your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel or the Airport.

End of 7 days Safari

Tour includes;
