THE CLASSIC FACTOR
Singita Grumeti is a private facility to the west of Serengeti. This area is magnificently quiet and isolated therefore you will not come across other vehicles, even in July up to August when it is filled with wildebeests as the annual migration moves through. This is a very wonderful safari experience!
East Africa is boosts of an equatorial climate so generally the climate here is somewhat constant making it an all year round tourist destination. Tanzania experiences a light rain season starting in November up to March. That season is known as ‘the short rains’, usually not more than a short downpour every day that is followed by patent sunshine. And then from March up to December the weather increasingly becomes warmer with ‘long rains’ being experienced from April to May.
The lodge is Open all throughout the year. The migration season begins in June up to August.
Equestrian safaris are not conducted from November up to mid December as well as from April to May.
