Singita Mara River Tented Camp

Located in the far northern tip of Serengeti National Park, the Singita Mara River Tented Camp presents guests the opportunity to hang out in this spectacular yet distant area, having one of the highest numbers of wildlife inside Serengeti National Park.

With countless views of River Mara, along with the camp constructed to have minimal have a minimal effect on the environment, it offers guests with an intensive closeness to Mother Nature.

The camp serves up to 16 guests. There are six luxury tents. 2 of these, referred to as family tents that include 2 tents joined by a brief walkway having a shared deck. These tents were designed in a bohemian-fancy style integrating numerous light plus natural materials, with the best quality you would expect. The unique design includes an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding.

Getting there

BY AIR: Serengeti Lamai airstrip is the entrance to Singita Mara River Tented Camp. It is readily accessible with a number of internal flights connecting from inside Tanzania.  It’s under a one hour game drive from Serengeti Lamai Airstrip to Singita Mara River Tented Camp.

Child Policy

Singita Mara River Tented Camp welcomes Children of 12 years and above. All safari activities can be customized to suit the entire family. However, for safety’s sake, the involvement of children in any of the game activities is at the judgment of the safari guide. Children between 12 and 18 years of age are offered a 50% discount off the adult rate when reserving the family tents.

Best time to Visit

From mid March up to mid May the camp when the area is receiving long rains (and after these, the game viewing is excellent). Other than that, this area is great during the rest of the year. There is plenty of game viewing within the Serengeti National Park starting from June to March and then July to November being the best months to witness the annual migration.
