Kati Kati Camp

This is a wonderful mobile tented camp found in Central Serengeti on Makoma campsite. It has 20 basic tents each having a double bed or twin beds plus a simple inside bathroom.

Kati Kati Camp is reasonably located to cover a sizable expanse of Serengeti and enables guests to freely explore several different areas. In the middle of this camp a warm and comfortable mess tent with a dining area plus a bar.

every evening a large campfire is lit outside and there the guest come together as they enjoy the last rays of the sun fade beyond the horizon, have a tea, or cocktail and interact as well as share their experiences in this part of the world with each other.

Fortunately Kati Kati is a basic yet strategic place to base from which guests can easily reach any of the best areas around for game viewing within the vast Serengeti National Park.  It is approximately 40 minutes drive from the nearest airstrip at Seronera airstrip, perfectly hidden from the commotion that is included with safaris in the central part of the Serengeti.

All the tents are designed very much the same. They are simple and un-pretentious ‘safari tents that beautifully blend into the surrounding environment.  Their rooms are all very comfortable each with an alternative of offering a  double bed or twin bedded in the tent plus an inside bathroom basing on the guests’ preference.

Their staff are all exceptionally warm and friendly and always helpful. They normally offer three meals each day that include a hefty breakfast with fresh fruits and juice, a light lunch and above all a “must eat” 3 course dinner prepared by their well experienced chef.

Breakfast box may be prepared for those setting out in the early morning for a morning game drive or you could choose to have your breakfast here at the camp. Breakfast normally includes a mixed buffet of bread, yogurt, nuts, cereal, juice and several fruits; with orders for omelet, toast, bacon and pancakes.
